Directions & Maps
Every church website needs to help visitors can work out exactly where you meet! The following sites offer maps which you can link to (but don't copy the map onto your site, since that breaches copyright). Coverage is variable, so try them all and see which is best for your area.
Note that it is very important to provide clear and concise directions to your church for visitors, as well as a current street address. The following web street mapping services are specific to the USA, but most continents/countries have a similar service (such as Multimap for Europe).
- Google Maps (recommended)
- Mapquest
- Yahoo! Maps
- MSN MapPoint
All of the above services will provide a picture map (zoomable in and out for more detailed view or greater area view), as well as allow for address-to-address step-by-step directions (one reason to list your church's street address clearly). Try them out, and see which one works best for you.
I do personally prefer the Google maps solution, as they have done some amazing things with their results that help people find how to get where they need to go.

People are funny, they want the front of the bus, the middle of the road, and the back of the church.
